Being a linguist is not just a job. It’s a passion.

I have 17 years of teaching experience, working across German state schools, private schools and universities. I have worked with individuals of all learning levels - often using custom made curricula to cater to individual learning needs. An extensive part of this experience has surrounded written English skills and the importance of spelling and grammar, as well as register, tone, and most importantly today, how to use the written word as a vehicle to reach a varied, global audience.

grammatically and audience-appropriate solutions. I communicate with you openly about your needs, goals and deadlines.

As well as having achieved a B.A. in German and Linguistics (Queen Mary University of London) and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics (TU Dortmund), I hold a TESOL qualification from St. George College of London and an iPGCE teaching qualification from Sheffield University. I regularly partake in conferences and refresher courses to keep my subject knowledge current.
